Movie Synopsis
In 1920s Romania, Mihail returns home to pursue widow Elena but hesitates. He seeks the priest's advice while another man, Mândru, courts her. As villagers plan a wedding, Elena learns of Mihail's feelings and chooses him over Mândru.
